Narcoleptic in a cupboard for suggesting that I use some embroidery thread to pick out the details.

Picked out the detail of one of the tight petalled flowers with embroidery thread and have started to pick out some of the petals on the poppy too |

I've also treated myself to a new pair of ballet pump style shoes as I'm thinking I don't have any suitable footwear that's pretty enough to wear with a dress but comfortable enough for stomping round the V&A and fabric shopping in May for the Sew Weekly meet up. I know I'm a bit premature but there's a reason...

I want to do an Irregular Choice makeover on these shoes as I don't have the pennies to spend on those lovely lovely shoes they create so I'm going to have to make my own. I'm thinking the bows on the front of the pumps are tiny and a bit meh so I'm going to search through my stash and see what I can come up with...
