To embelish or not to embelish?

Do you remember this fabric sample score I made the other day?  Well, I decided that one of the pieces would make a really funky purse and because I'm a magpie there weren't enough sparkly bits so I've been working on it today, what do you think?

I'm going to fold the fabric to make it into a purse and line it with something sleek and shiny, not sure on the fastening yet.  Not sure how much more sequins and beads I should put on it as don't want to put too much, but how much is enough????  Any suggestions?

I've also made some decisions regarding the notions I got in the post yesterday, I'm going to use them all at once for the UK meet up outfit!  Well, if all goes well with it I will...finger's crossed!

    Wow, that's a lot of work! I'd consider maybe outlining the edges of the petals with a 3 strand embroidery thread a teeny bit darker than the fabric colour? If you want the flower to really stand out?

    although going around the pettles would be easier what you have done is just so lovely.
