MMJ Day 14 and I've made the front page!

I've been a bit bored today despite pinning up the hem of a dress at 7am and rushing home to finish it so I thought a few funny photos were in order since yesterday's went down so well...

Ta da!  me made clothkits skirt and monsoon top that I think I need to replicate

This is my favourite. Anti gravity rules

and a more sedate shot so you can actually see the design

So that was the outfit for today!  I've finished tomorrow's dress, just need to try it on for final time and work out accessories and I'm done.    The dress I showed you yesterday is still a work in progress.

But my most exciting news of the day is....drum roll please!  I'm on the front page of The Sew Weekly!  Horray!  How great is that?  And it's for my pillowcase dress!  The oddest thing I've made, and the quickest dress and I make the front page!  As you can tell from all the exclamation marks I'm pretty excited and proud...the weirdest thing is that I didn't know before I took the leaping photos but I definitely jumped then!  I think this me made month is going a lot better than March and I'm so looking forward to September already!  Now I know I'm loosing the plot.

  2. Hey, well done you on the front page! That's really great :-) Hemming at 7am? Sounds like you are losing the plot ;-) That's dedication!

And I'm very later to the party, but I wanted to say that I have loves all your MMJ posts. You totally crack me up, but often I'm giggling too hard to leave a comment.

  5. Congrats on the front page. Lovely clothkits skirt. YOu reminded me that I a clothkits skirt, and I had better dust it off before the end of June and wear it.
